Daniel Zambrano '02

Hometown: Atlanta, GA
Daniel is an international business negotiator, strategist, and legal counselor who currently serves as the worldwide General Counsel to Technicolor Connected Home.  Prior to joining Technicolor, Daniel served in the international branch of the Legal Department at Turner Broadcasting, focusing on the development of new content and digital platforms in Latin America and the Caribbean.  A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied philosophy, politics and economics, Daniel went on to earn his J.D. at George Washington University, and his M.B.A. from Emory University, where he studied entrepreneurship and finance.  He clerked for the Honorable Marjorie L. Clagett in the 7th Judicial Circuit of Maryland, who ten years earlier suggested he apply to Severn. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the non-profit Comunidad Connect, which is an NGO that seeks to reduce the prevalence of poverty in Latin America by connecting communities across borders to new opportunities.  An aviation enthusiast, Daniel is a certified private pilot who received his class rating in single engine land aircraft in 2006. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and young son.
