Admirals Parents' Association
The Severn community is a strong one, and as a Severn parent, you are a valued and important part of it. Severn parents are automatically made members of our vibrant parent group, the Admirals Parents’ Association.
The Admirals Parents’ Association supports the Severn community through more than 125 annual events, regular parent gatherings and by serving as grade-level representatives for each grade. If you’re looking to play a more active role on the Severn campus, this is the perfect way to get involved.

Alumni Portal
Our active and involved alumni network is a testament to the deep relationships we cultivate here at Severn. We hope you keep your ties to the Severn community strong — after all, building community is at the root of everything we do.

Our Team
In the development office, we have the incredible fortune of working alongside Severn School's talented faculty and students while supporting learning and teaching through philanthropy.
We hear the stories our donors share about their "why" — during a conversation on the bleachers at a sporting event, in a carline in the afternoon, or even in a note that accompanies a gift they mailed to our office. The Severn donor wants to support the excellent teacher, honor that special coach, or give back to the school that gave them or their children the skills and experience to thrive.
This year, I invite you to find your "why." Remember that person, place, or experience that makes Severn so special for your family. When you make your gift, I encourage you to share your stories with me. Together, we can work to ensure that every Severn student is known and valued, that our outstanding faculty feel supported, and programs are enhanced to provide the most compelling opportunities and spaces to learn and teach.

The Admiral Fund
Help ensure that there is a space and place for every Admiral by making a gift towards one of six specific programs — we call them our Families of Funds — that is most meaningful to you. You can direct your Admiral Fund gift to the area of greatest need, or donate directly to support athletics, community service, diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, financial assistance, or the fine arts. -
Special Initiatives
Broaden your impact by giving directly to one of our special initiatives designed to take the Severn experience to even greater heights. You can lessen the financial burden of club membership for Upper School students through our Partnership Program, or celebrate our students’ literary voices by supporting our Middle or Upper School Author Series. You might support a student with the potential and desire to be a Severn Admiral through financial assistance to the Susan B. Teel Society Fund. No matter how you choose to get involved, you’re helping us foster a dynamic Severn experience for generations to come. -
Endowment
Invest in every Admiral by supporting the Severn School endowment. The principal of your gift is invested and kept intact, and a percentage of the fund’s value is expended for the endowment’s purpose every year, extending the longevity and impact of your gift. You might make a general donation or direct your funds to support your passion by specifically giving to financial aid, faculty development, diversity, equity, and inclusion or student programs. -
Gift Planning
Make a deferred gift by including Severn School in your estate plans or make a bequest through your will or trust. There are many gift models available to you to plan your ongoing support of Severn School.
